RECONNECT project partners will gather in Rijeka for a two-day Technical and Steering Committee Meeting focused on coordination, innovation, and strategic alignment. Hosted by the Faculty of Biotechnology and Drug Development of the University of Rijeka, the meeting marks an important step in advancing the project’s methodology, tools, and pilot actions.
A Key Moment for Project Coordination
On 5–6 February 2026, the Technical and Steering Committee Meeting of the RECONNECT project will take place in Rijeka, Croatia. The meeting will bring together project partners to review progress, align activities, and jointly plan the next phases of implementation.
The first day will be dedicated to the Technical Committee, focusing on operational aspects, methodological development, and the use of AI-based tools. The second day will include the Steering Committee meeting, addressing strategic governance, financial management, and decision-making processes essential for the project’s success.
Advancing Innovation Through Collaboration
The RECONNECT project is dedicated to developing and applying innovative methodologies and AI-based tools that support sustainable and circular economic development. This meeting provides a space for partners to exchange expertise, validate tools, and strengthen their capacity to implement pilot actions effectively.
Through interactive sessions, working groups, and open discussions, partners will collaborate to ensure coherence between technical development and strategic objectives, reinforcing the project’s long-term impact.
From Methodology to Pilot Actions
A central focus of the meeting will be the transition from conceptual development to practical implementation. Partners will discuss pilot action methodologies, share experiences, and identify opportunities to maximise the use of developed tools in real-world contexts.
This collaborative approach ensures that RECONNECT solutions remain practical, scalable, and transferable across regions, supporting innovation ecosystems and sustainable value creation.
Strengthening Governance and Project Impact
In addition to technical progress, the Steering Committee session will address project governance, financial implementation, and upcoming milestones. These discussions are crucial to maintaining alignment among partners and ensuring the efficient delivery of project results.
By combining technical expertise with strategic oversight, the meeting reinforces RECONNECT’s commitment to innovation, cooperation, and sustainable development across the Euro-Mediterranean area.
