As part of the project “Creative Crafts for Industrial Symbiosis in Blue Economy Sectors”, the RECONNECT project team at the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro held a meeting dedicated to selecting small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs from Montenegro who will participate in the project activities. During the meeting, the team evaluated the applications received and discussed the upcoming activities, including training, individual support and connecting participants with potential partners.
Turning Ideas into Circular Business Solutions
In the upcoming period, participants will take part in workshops and training sessions, while some will also be involved in further support activities aimed at developing circular business models and innovative ideas, as well as connecting them with potential partners from Montenegro and abroad.
RECONNECT focuses on connecting the fisheries, aquaculture and craft sectors, with the aim of recognizing waste and by-products as resources for new products and business activities. The project also promotes cooperation among businesses, the development of sustainable business models and the creation of new opportunities for small businesses and craft enterprises.
The project is led by t2i – Technology and Innovation Transfer Agency from Italy. In addition to the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, the project brings together partners from Italy, Spain, Croatia, Greece and Albania.
